Global Shares has announced the appointment of David Neves as Business Development Director, focused mainly on leading Global Shares expansion in the Southern Europe region.
David has spent the past 12 years in the equity compensation and financial services industry, holding a number of senior business development and client management positions. Prior to joining Global Shares David worked for Computershare, responsible for business development in the EMEA region, Regional Head of Client Management for clients in Central & Southern Europe and a number of other CRM roles.
Prior to this David worked as a Share Plan Manager at Morgan Stanley, Citi Bank and in the investment banking units of Deutsche Bank and other financial institutions. During this time, he accumulated vast experience supporting issuers with multiple types of equity compensation plans worldwide for all-employee, country specific plans and executive share programmes as well as gaining huge insight into capital market transactions and brokerage services.
David holds an MBA in Business and Finance, a Masters in Wealth Management, and a bachelor’s degree in European Studies. He currently lives in Madrid and speaks fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese.
